Hello, author! I am so excited that you received one (or more) of my prompts, and I can’t wait to see whatever you come up with!

Before anything else, I want to be clear that all of the following likes, preferences, and prompts are solely to help guide you if you’re looking for some direction. As long as you stay away from the DNWs, I am totally happy to read anything you come up with for me. If you read my prompts and think, uh-oh, that’s not the direction I wanted to go — not a problem, go your own direction! Some of the best gifts I’ve ever received are scenarios I never would have thought of myself, so please get as creative as you want.

OK, that out of the way, I’ve listed some general likes and preferences below, followed by more specific likes and prompts for each request. Some of the items below may be in direct conflict with each other, and that’s just because my interests and likes are broad and wide-ranging. You could never use all of this in a single fic, and I wouldn’t expect anyone to try!

The Duke boys are so pretty. That’s it. That’s the prompt. Just show me some pretty Duke boys doing inappropriate things with each other. Any amount of plot or no plot is totally fine with me.

Hansel & Gretel

Pairings: Hansel/Gretel

I would love a retelling of this fairy tale with a romantic relationship between the two characters - you could go any direction at all with this, with my one request being that, per my DNWs, you make sure that the characters are at least post-pubescent in age. You can age them up further than that if you like, as well.

What appeals to me about this ship is the dependence on each other and the aspect of “us against the entire world.” They’re facing a shared threat and have been abandoned by those who are supposed to care for them. So they learn that they must rely on each other, because they don’t have anyone else.

If you want to leave it as the original setting in the woods with the witch’s house, that’s totally fine. Or a modern AU would be great, as well. It might be interesting to explore how the elements of the fairy tale change if it’s set in modern times. Really, any interpretation of this that you want to come up with would be great for me.

1950s father/teen daughter he takes on holiday. Basically I’d just love a father/daughter story set in the 1950s - what would a road trip be like then? Or a holiday vacation? The particular details would be entirely up to you - maybe the daughter seduces (clumsily? Or with practice?) the father, or maybe the father is trying to suppress his attraction but failing, and this holiday sets a match to that tinder.

Macho uncle/pretty young nephew. Totally entranced by this pairing. I think you could go a million ways with it and I’d be interested in any of them. Maybe pretty young nephew comes to live with macho uncle and macho uncle takes notice of him. Or maybe macho uncle takes pretty nephew under his wing at his brother’s request to help him “toughen up” and the lessons take a turn. Or possibly macho uncle sees pretty nephew flirting with boys and it gives him his own sexuality crisis, which he ends up resolving with pretty nephew in his bed. Or literally whatever else you want to do here - go nuts.

Good king/harem of lethal sons who are utterly devoted to him and each other. I want to read this fic so much! I need to know everything about this harem of lethal sons. How are they lethal? Why are they a harem? How did this happen? The idea of a harem full of hot men lounging around in silk robes, touching and pleasuring each other and their king the father, and then leaping into deadly action when required… it’s beautiful. Whoever came up with this prompt is a genius. (PS: You don’t have to use the lounging around in silk robes thing! Just the first thought that came to my mind.)

Sex pollen pairings. I love sex pollen as a trope. Whether one or both of the participants is fully reluctant, or maybe only a little reluctant because they were already Having Thoughts about the other person, or maybe they didn’t have thoughts before but they sure are now — any or all of the above works great. Just love a good sex pollen fic.
