Id Pro Quo 2023 Creator Letter

Before anything else, I want to be clear that all of the following likes, preferences, and prompts are solely to help guide you if you’re looking for some direction. As long as you stay away from the DNWs, I am totally happy to read anything you come up with for me. If you read my prompts and think, uh-oh, that’s not the direction I wanted to go—not a problem, go your own direction!
OK, that out of the way, I’ve listed some general likes and preferences below, followed by more specific likes and prompts for each request. Some of the items below may be in direct conflict with each other, and that’s just because my interests and likes are broad and wide-ranging. You could never use all of this in a single fic, and I wouldn’t expect anyone to try!

Note on canon: I had to pick a canon to nominate this under and went with TOS, but I’m entirely happy to get fic for the AOS canon. I have seen and enjoyed both canons and I like the versions of the characters from both, so please feel to choose whichever you prefer.
I love the dynamic between these two characters—the constant sniping, but underlaid with real affection. I also dig when Spock tries to pretend that he’s not having any emotions at all about McCoy while unleashing acid sarcasm at him all the time. As you can see from the tags, I’m very down for scenarios involving being trapped together, hurt/comfort, possessiveness, and Spock going completely feral when Bones is in danger. Pon farr scenarios are also very welcome, as is anything regarding Vulcans having sensitive hands. If you want to get into Vulcan lore, please feel free to explore that as well, because I eat that stuff up.
As an additional note, if you choose to go E-rated with this (which would be extremely welcome), please feel free to use whatever headcanon you like for Vulcan anatomy. I’m totally fine with xeno characteristics if you want to get weird. (Also totally fine with normal human-style anatomy too, of course.)

The tags pretty much indicate where my head is at with these pairings — you’ve got Peter Hale being a fashion snob and picking clothes out for Stiles and possibly Derek; Peter and Stiles being morally grey codependent murder husbands with each other, Peter seeing Stiles being terrifyingly dangerous and competent and being totally GONE for him as a result. I would absolutely love a fic that leaned hard into werewolf elements, e.g. biting/claiming, knotting, scenting, tracking people by scent, etc. If you decide to do Derek/Stiles/Peter and incorporate the “A/B edge C until they’re a sobbing desperate mess” tag I will love you forever. I also threw in tags for being on the run together, for a kidnapping scenario, and for fuck or die/sex pollen scenarios. There are really not very many ways you can go wrong with these pairings for me!
Pairing: James Bond/Q

I love this pairing more than is sane or reasonable. Pretty much anything you do with it will be great, and I will so vastly appreciate it. I have been on board for this ship ever since their first meeting in front of The Fighting Temeraire, when Bond tells Q all he sees is a “bloody big ship.”
Things I really dig about this pairing are the competence kink (which IMO can go both ways; Bond being attracted to how clever and skilled Q is, and Q admiring Bond for his physical prowess and probably his cleverness too really), the clothes (Bond dressing a reluctant and protesting Q in bespoke evening wear is a scene I would frankly love), a pining Q who thinks Bond is out of his reach, a scheming Bond who wants Q and decides to go after him; and any amount of tropey setups like only one bed or kidnapping or fake relationship or— there are a million options and I would love any of them!
I still haven’t seen No Time to Die, FYI, although I’m okay if you want to incorporate it and spoil it as I’m not worried about spoilers. (Also more than okay if you want to ignore it, of course.)
Pairing: Robert Lutece/Rosalind Lutece
DNW for this pairing: Non-corporeal Lutece twins. I.e., please make them physically present in the physical world.

These two are so fascinating and I honestly don’t know why there’s not more fic about them. I realize, regarding the incest tags, that they’re not technically brother and sister (in case you’re unfamiliar with this fandom, they’re versions of each other from alternate universes who end up together in the same universe, pretend to be brother and sister to everyone, and are canonically obsessed with each other and sleep in the same bed) but it’s self-cest at a minimum and they certainly behave like brother and sister, so in my head, they’re firmly on the incest bus.
One of the things I love the most about this pairing is how completely, absolutely obsessed they are with each other. I would love a fic exploring the idea that one or both of them was touch starved before finding each other, or that they never experienced true attraction before coming together. (Scenarios involving kink exploration and/or bondage would also be very welcome! I didn’t tag for it because I don’t necessarily think this pairing needs it per se, but I would be totally up for a fic incorporating those elements if that’s where your head takes you.)
Pairing: RK900/Gavin Reed

My headcanon for Gavin Reed is that he really gets off on breathplay and the threat of being choked out, but he refuses to admit it to himself. Do with that what you will. (If you're not into breathplay, please feel free to just ignore this and write whatever else! It is totally not necessary to my enjoyment of the fic!)
Basically, I would just love to see the RK900 (very happy with the fanon name "Nines" for him) totally wrecking the shit out of Gavin Reed. Maybe it's to teach Gavin some discipline, or because Gavin's shitty attitude finally pisses Nines off a little too much, or maybe Nines just likes indulging himself with a human pet. There are a world of possibilities, as long as Gavin Reed ends up getting wrecked by Nines. Background Hankcon is a-ok. (Maybe Hank sees what's going on but thinks it's consensual, or maybe he realizes it actually isn't but thinks Reed has it coming. Connor definitely knows what's going down, but figures his brother has it under control, and besides, Reed is a dick.) Happy with dubcon or even noncon in this pairing, as long as Gavin is getting off on it at some point.
Specific notes on a few of the tags: I love the idea of Nines being jealous when he sees scars on Gavin because only HE should be able to give Gavin scars. I also love the idea of Nines and Gavin realizing together that wire play is a thing, and seeing the aftermath of that. Oh, and Nines secretly dosing Gavin with aphrodisiacs sounded really fun, too.
Pairings: Caesar/Arcade Gannon; Caesar/Vulpes Inculta/Arcade Gannon

Please feel free to go completely nuts with the noncon in this prompt. I am very open to any and all scenarios. A couple of ideas that come to mind: The Courier sells Arcade to Caesar for use as a pet, and Caesar (and possibly Vulpes Inculta) uses him as such. Or maybe the Courier just brings Arcade along with him to Caesar’s stronghold, and something about Arcade catches Caesar’s eye - his mouthy sarcasm, perhaps, or his obvious intelligence. Caesar probably doesn’t get a lot of good intellectual stimulation, so maybe he’d be willing to do a lot (like bargain, or kidnap) in order to have an unwilling conversational partner like Arcade. I love the idea of scenarios where Arcade is forced to enjoy himself during the noncon, hence the tags around aphrodisiacs and forced orgasm. I’m also happy to have Vulpes Inculta involved in the scene. Like, imagine Caesar monologuing about Hegelian dialectics or whatever, while Vulpes is methodically tormenting Arcade right in front of him. It’s right to my id!
Pairings: Father who got sex pollened/daughter who is the only one who can help; Brother who got sex pollened/sister who is the only one who can help

The prompt really says it all on this one! It’s an incesty sex pollen scenario where the daughter/sister is the only one who can help her suffering dad or brother. Please let your imagination run wild here; any sort of existing relationship would be interesting in this scenario — maybe they have a very close and loving relationship, maybe it’s frictiony and argumentative, maybe one of them had a secret attraction to the other even before the sex pollen…there are a lot of possibilities!
Pairing: Piano prodigy (F)/Demanding Piano Teacher (M)

I see this scenario as being a piano teacher who has very specific and unorthodox ideas about how to encourage high performance. And he’s very good at convincing his student that his way is the right way. Please feel free to take or leave the bondage/corporal punishment tags if you’d rather just concentrate on the gaslighting or abuse of authority! Basically what I’m looking for from this is a fucked-up relationship in which the teacher is using his power and authority inappropriately — in whatever shape that might take.
